Boadicea the Victorious Defender

Layers of imaginatively composed notes, chords and technologies by Kamila Lelakova, the first perfumer of Boadicea the Victorious, have produced a bold perfume of perseverance and emotional impact. Defender opens with a rebellious cry of zesty ginger, grapefruit, and unexpected swirls of dark licorice and honeyed cognac, mixed with an intriguing compote of red berries and a hint of kirsch.

Orange blossom heralds the arrival of Defender’s all-important heart note, Night Blooming Jasmine, and the background for the jasmine is an alluring blend of sad myrrh, its earthy smoke and balsamic mood, mixed with a note of hay absolute used by Defender perfumer Kamila Lelakova to hint at Boadicea’s childhood when she grew wheat and barley with her family.
