New Zealand Mint COMIX™ – Superman #1 1oz Silver Coin

The famous DC SUPERMAN™ #1 comic from May 1939 floats on this COMIX™ coin!

Crafted from 1 ounce of pure silver, this coin features a full-color image of not only the first self-titled MAN OF STEEL™ comic, but every comic book superhero ever. To mimic the comic, it was made into a rectangular shape and colored on all four sides to represent the spine and pages. Turn to the obverse to see the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, confirming the coin’s legal tender status. As an added touch, an engraved turning page was also added!

In collaboration with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, each coin is presented in a black velvet inlay in a themed, custom box. A large window on the front allows you to easily display this rare piece. On the reverse there is a certificate of authenticity and the unique number of the coin in the limited edition of 5,000.
